2002 seadoo challenger 2000 starting problems and smoke

Smokes at idle

also starting is an issue, while turning the key have to push throttle up and only then will it start, but usually take about 10-15 tries

what can be the issue and how to correct it

Water in the cylinders. Pull plugs and see if there’s water on any of them. If there dry run it for just a few seconds pull the plugs and check them again.

I have the same problem when start, have to push the throttle to the end and after 10 tries can start the engine. it feel like the engine been flushed by the gas. already rebuild the cab 3 times not lucky.
for your smoke problem, I thinks is because of too much oil, maybe you should adjust the mixing ratio.
