Did you put oil down in the cyl's? If you did... your new compression numbers are invalid. Basically, the oil sealed the bad rings.

BUT... 110, and 90 psi is low, and that engine is tired. It may not run until it gets a fresh top-end.

Well today I pulled the flywheel off an the stator out and the place that holds a stators is broke and the bracket that comes off the throttle for the advance timing is it. Does anyone and that you can get used parts or does anyone have a new motor for parts?????

Well I ordered some parts off-line there getting shipped here. After I get them try it if no running I guess I will have to rebuild it. Now I've heard some people say not to use Wiscoe pistons and Marine has anyone had any experience rebuilding these motors and where to get parts.. Thanks guys

Today I got my parts so I put in a new stator plate an a trigger assembly in all looks
Good put the flywheel back on and try it now I have no spark on any coils I
Checked and have no power going to the coils and I had spark before all this so I'm guess the stator is no good now??? Was going to test wires but don't have a manual.. So I need some help on testing the stator or anyone have a manual on PDF?? Any help
Would be great. Thanks Lou.
