I'm new to this forum because I'm new to PWC's. Just bought two at a 'could not believe' price, because I guess the engine needed to be replaced. The previous owner had run across a sandbar, tried to gun it off. It would not start after that. He even tried to flush out the sand, but the engine never started. It sat for two years with sandy/salty water that had leaked in through the exhaust valve. Now it's my problem.
I have removed the engine and in the process have busted a few stainless bolts, leaving the remains to be drilled out. I can do that, but, I need to get the crank position sensor off. I removed the one bolt but it still won't budge. I'm hesitant to use bigger tools, since it's not a cheap part to replace. Can anyone suggest how to get it off the case?
