Hey folks, New SeaDoo owner here.
Bought this last week, had it in water 3 times. On initial run each time, it runs smoothly at whatever speed, 30 mph most of the time. If I throttle back to low speed or stop, then the speed is all over the place.
Holding constant throttle at 30, speed drops to 10 or so. Add ANY throttle and it tips in like it's going to 50. Back off and it drops way down. I'm always feathering the throttle.
If I let it idle for 5 minutes (this is repeatable) it accelerates smoothly and holds speed. Slow down or stop and the "unstableness" returns. I've had several boats and have been around machinery all my life . . . this is weird!
What's up. Injectors? Computer? Compression? Dealer is backed up 3 weeks before he can even look at it. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
