I need to remove the tuned pipe on my sea doo to repair a hole in it. Is it necessary to remove the muffler when I remove the tuned pipe of can I just remove the tuned pipe.

It is not necessary to remove the muffler. Just loosen the front clamp on the small connector hose and pull the tuned pipe out of it. Be sure to use a new gasket at the manifold when reinstalling the pipe.
