Started boat put in water ,ran no issue ,took out again across lake shut off nothing ,I have no spark on any plugs.tring to confirm what wires I would check from stator to see if that is bad ,I have some number of wiring 398 9873 a36 if that helps

Is your kill switch engaged and functioning? If it's bad, engine may crank, but won't start. If the shifter is not in neutral, it won't even crank.

Do you still have the original trigger base? They are known to have horrible insulation that crumbled over the years.

Yes ,I jumped out kill switch ,natural switch is working ok ,motor cranks over ,I pulled spark plugs aND have no spark ,trying to find some info on how to test power coming out of stator under flywheel ,thanks for help

Thanks ,will see if it has one. ,

Do you still have the RPM limiter? Black box next to fuse block under driver storage?
Try disconecting the black wire w/ yellow stripe there. Or at the engine, on top of the engine, behind the flywheel.
