2001 xp seadoo

I have a 2001 Seadoo xp, and the engine will not turn over to start, all it does is when i hit the starter button it make a noise like it wants to turn over but it does not. I have removed the spark plugs and it still does the same thing. I had this on the lake and it ran fine, and after about an hour of running i pulled it up to my dock and i sucked up a rope and from this point on it has not turned over at all. anyone have any ideas as what may have happened, and how do i fix it.

Hi, i would repost this in the 2 stroke section. But to test you can jump the starter solenoid with a screedriver or any pice of metal. Also test to see where the click is acualy comming from, it could be the starter or the solenoid
