2001 XP Restoration - RAVE solenoid pulse line check valve

Apologies y'all, I am posting many questions in my attempt to get my restoration completed. Need a 2001 XP 951 expert advice. The shop manual (page 04-05-5) illustrates a check valve on the pulse line from engine to RAVE solenoid. Also, a website (powersportsparts) shows check valve part number 275500479 on their air intake diagram. When I tore my engine out (last week), my pulse line did not have a check valve. This is the original engine, and I am the original owner. Back in the 2000's the ski ran at 65mph and 6800 rpm, so I didn't need it? I realize the shop manual was set up for most of the seadoo skis, so there are some variances. Any suggestions?

Yeah I’ve see. That to on diagrams so but I never ran one and it ran fine I would put it back the way it was

Check valve turns crankcase pulse into positive pressure
Pressure is sent to RAVE solenoid
MPEM tells solenoid to close, sending pressure to RAVE valve diaphragms
Pressure / piston, / diaphragm moves guillotine changing exhaust port timing

I have a 2001 Sea-doo LRV 951. Can someone please send me a picture where on the crank case does the pulse hose goes from the carb? Under the carbs on the engine case I have the 2 small hoses that go to the Oil pump. Don't see any other hose connections.
Also, please show me on the carb which is the return hose connection that goes to the gas tank?

The return line has a “t” above the carb,
The pulse line snakes thru between the rear and front carb to the pulse inlet at the front of the front carb.

Ok, next problem.
My 2001 Sea-doo LRV 951, I am not seeing any gauges display. When I put on the lanyard key it beeps twice and I can start the engine. But no display, does anyone have any ideas what I can check?
