Would anyone happen to know a replacement size and source for engine cover struts for 2001 utopia. I found part number but cant for the life of me find a source to purchase replacements.

Google "gas lift strut" or "gas lift cylinder." 100s of places. If you have a p/n, can you find a mfr name?

i found this part number online 291000654. Cant find specs to cross reference another manufacture. All links to discontinued oem.

MANY companies. You need overall length, and force. Force spec should be on the strut. About $25 each.

P/N 291000654 is actually one of the strut brackets, not the strut itself.
The strut is 204071087 which has a 90 pound force and is also not available.

There is a set currently on eBay, item number 323885069931, which is listed for $60.00 or best offer.
Maybe go in at a low number and see what happens.
