2001 Sportster LE fogging?

Just bought a 2001 Sportster LE with
a newly rebuild 951 motor.

There is no hole on the air box to fog ?
Should I take the cover off and spray into each duck while the motor is running ?

I would like do this after each run on the lake.

What reputation does the 951 have ?

Also I hear it has a short life span of approx 200.

I have the same boat. I fog by opening the air box.

I don't have experience on other models, this 2001 Sportster LE is the first and only boat I have.
All I can say is, it gave me a fantastic summer last year.

Some fixes, and a lot of fun.

Im having a hell of a time opening that air box

There is a clip on top i release that and its still tight no play

any suggestions ?

Yes. Only one clip. You need to wiggle a little to get it out. There is a pin underneath.
