2001 Sportster for $6500 wi new 130 hp motor - boat looks new - is this a good deal?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy this boat versus another jetski (kids want the boat). I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not. I would appreciate any input.

It's an ok price if it's clean, and doesn't need any work... AND they can prove that the engine is new. (and with warranty)

Thanks. Haven't seen it in person yet but it looks like new in the photos. I just found a 2002 with allegedly only 38 hours for the same price - also looks very clean via the photos.

I just missed an 02 Sportster LE in Norfolk, VA for $3500 w/bimini. Looked mint, was in storage for last 2 yrs, and just serviced today. Posted on CL today at 6:30 and sold by 8:00.

That sounds like an awesome deal. i did buy the 2002 for $6K today. Seemed like a decent deal as the boat looked nearly brand new and only had 38 hours on it. Everything about this boat was near perfect: boat, trailer, cover...original owner had a very extensive manual with all maintenance details, etc. seemed like a high cost but also seems reasonable after all the research I did. Thanks for the feedback

Yep... SUPER clean.

It was probably worth the price. I sold my sportster for $4k, and it was a 96.
