2001 seadoo sporster no spark

Hi, no spark on either plug. To test the trigger coil the manual says to use an adapter. Is there any other way to test it? Also can I use a trigger coil off of an 99 GTX LImited? Since both plugs have no spark isn't the only possibility the triger coil or MPEM?
