i was out boating the other day and the boat was running great then all of a sudden the boat slowed and would only go about 10 mph it would not rev up so i shut it down and had a friend tow me in. took the boat out and changed the spark plugs and fuel filter because the engine would idle really rough after it did that. the boat still idle roughs and i have no clue whats wrong will stay running a little over idle but wont rev up in the water at all.

any suggestions?????

ok went and looked at the boat again today and found that the whole driver side of the engine has no spark.

That's not good. Check over the harness to make sure it didn't unplug somewhere. At the coils, trigger unit, and the CDI units. I looked at the wiring diagram for your boat, and there is a CDI for the Port, and a CDI for the starboard side. SO... if you have a bank that's dead... I would start with the CDI controlling that side.

Tracked it back to the stator looks like only one cdi is getting power because when I swap the power the opposite side fires
