I have a 2001 Sea-Doo challenger 15 foot with twin 717’s or so called “720’s”. First I was wondering does each engine have two carburetors or one I haven’t opened it up yet but I looks like some engines have 2 vs 1. And let’s say I just have one on each engine with adding another one to each improge power and if so how much HP the wise? My other question is what modifications can I do on these two strokes to make them have more power! & yes I can turn a wrench. I’ve been fantasizing about swapping it with two 951s or if i get the money to, see if 2 of seadoos 300 motors would fit in it. imagine how cool that would be. But the main questions are the carbs and things I can do too maybe crank out more power.

Your boat uses a single carb.
No, adding a second one will not make any more power.
Really nothing worthwhile to add more power.
Engine swaps are a pain in the butt and get much more expensive than on paper.

Your best bet is to sell that boat and find one with more power.
