2001 Sea Doo Challenger 14 lower flush ports

New to boating, Sea Doo, and jet boats.
Just purchased a 2001 Sea Doo Challenger 14 with twin Rotax 717 (the person I got it from did not know anything about the boat).
Here is the question...the lower flush ports near the jet nozzle where you would put a garden hose to flush do NOT have a plug, should these ports be plugged when taken to the water?

No plug needed, if you look in the bore of the fitting notice how small it is? That's a calibrated fitting designed to reduce water flow incoming from a hose to prevent engine damage and regulate cooling water supplied from the pump flowing back out.
