2001 rxdi From Idle to bog to quit

Just bought a new to me 2001 rxdi 145 hours. Ran good on test ride. After running for about 30 minutes, while idleing the idle continues to drop and engine dies. After that is very hard to start. If sits and cools off fires up on first crank? Any thoughts out there? Seadoo seems to run very good off of idle.

Welcome to the seadoo forum. Are you running fresh fuel? What is your compression of the cylinders? What do the spark plugs look like? Have you tried to replace the spark plugs to see if it runs better?

More info

Replaced plugs with oem plugs. Filled up with premium fuel as recommended, should have run out most old fuel. Have not gotten to compression check yet, but sounds like rave valves may need cleaning. will try that this weekend possibly. What should the compression be?

ideal compression is 150psi. Have you checked battery volts?
