Dr Honda Well-Known Member May 6, 2012 #2 That's not Un-common on any engine. That's normally cased by the starter hanging, or someone hits the starter when the engine is running.

L LBrinson35 New Member May 7, 2012 #3 Sorry I shouldn't have said "teeth". It was the inner splines that hold the flywheel to the crank that stripped out. Sorry for the wrong wordage.
