Hey All,

New problem just reared it's head today. I have a 2001 GTX DI, de-winterized
it today installed a brand new fresh battery fully charged, 12.54 volts. Fuel
was stabilized, even filled it up today with fresh. Installed the landard and
a garden hose, turned it over for 10 seconds and it immeditely started. 30
seconds into warm up, maint. comes on the display, red light comes on,
for about 2-3 seconds then it goes off. If you burb the throttle, it will do
it also. The unit never shuts off or displays limp mode. Unit currently has
23.5 hours on the dreamometer. Thanks for the help!

UPDATE: I restarted it again at idle and did not touch the throttle, it did not beep
or flash. If I burp the throttle then it will do it.

Welcome to the seadoo forum millertime. If you get a red blinking light and "MAINT" is displayed it could be a fault code in the MPEM,(Multi Purpose Electronic Module). It also could be a maintenance inspection reminder.Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds. If the blinking continues it's a fault code. Only the seadoo dealer can check the mpem and repair the problem. Give it another try and hold the set button to see what it does. Keep us posted.

The light does not flash or blink. It comes on for a second or two with
the alarm and goes off. It does not show limp mode after.

It shouldn't show "Limp Mode" The light coming on is a blink...It will say"MAINT". Press the "SET" button for 2 seconds. This will reset the "MAINT" code and means it needs scheduled maintenance.

Only if the light blinks again does it have a trouble code, to be checked by a dealer.
