I just have purchased 01 gtx di. Ski runs great at high rpms but dies at idle.
I have drained old gas and filled with 87 octane, new plugs, new gas filter. Ran fuel pressure test- ok, ran air compressor test - low 55-60 psi while cranking engine. Removed air compressor and check condition of reed plates and cleaned internal parts. Reinstalled and check pressure again - same. Just wondering what may be the possible cause of dieing at idle? Would changing the reed plates,o-ring, and gasket on air compressor help even though they appear to be fine? Dealership also ran diagnostic - with no fault codes showing. Help!
