Back in 2011 I rebuilt my blown di. The cause looked to be a loose intake manifold rubber boot clamp allowing extra air into the cylinder causing it to run lean and blow the cylinder. 13 years later and it fired right up again this spring. At 22 years old I‘m not sure how much longer she’ll go but I still running her like I stole her. In this time , I’ve only replace a wear ring and a few rectifiers.

Do whatever you are doing. There is no time frame on these skis. Bad maintenance will be a good ski down quickly. LOL Glad it's working out for you. I fogg mine. Those 951s seem to pull water out of the atmosphere.
I left the bottom end alone on my RX. I did a restore on the ski. I went through everything, pulled the engine and all. Flush the bottom checked out good and went with a top end. When it goes it goes. :) Good Luck !!
