2001 GTX 4 Tec starting problems

So my GTX 4 Tec, wouldn't start. Put a new battery in it, started up perfect the first few times. Now, you have to mess with it (give it some gas when trying to start it) to get it there. Once it does, seems to idle a little rough. I'm thinking maybe the plugs need to be changed and maybe the fuel filter as well. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this because this is the first seadoo I've owned.

There is no 2001 GTX 4tec. First year was 2002. Change plugs.

I dont know why I put 2001. It's a 2002. At any rate, thanks for the advice.
