2001 gti oil injection setup

can anyone help me ive got a 2001 gti and im having trouble setting up the oil injection pump. I have just rebuilt the engine but i am stuck on how to setup the oil injection pump and the position of the thin metal plate that spins between the pump and the block please help!!thanks

The plate is called a ROTARY VALVE, and it needs to be slid on the splines of the
rotary shaft, both faceing the right way & the teeth in correct orientation in a
relation to the TDC of the Mag cylinder. A degree wheel is used by the installer tech
to asure the position/proceedure. If you own and DIY work on the ski, you will need to read and understand and have the correct tools as described in
the specific SHOP MANUAL for your year & model ski. Its easy with the manual.
