Hi all
I have had my ski for some time now and have spent more time fixing than playing unfortunately.....The main problem appears to be around the carburretor, I have had two rebuilds in as many years. The first time in really made a difference until I fixed the leaky exhaust and then after the welding the carb played up again........back to the garage where they adjusted thepop off pressure springs, this time it cured the poor running however the accelaration was a little erractic. Last weekend it was performing okay on the saturday in calmish waters but after a refuel at different garage and a force five sea condition the ski refused to accelerate however the tickover speed remained ok.
so is it likely to be poor petrol, waterlogged engine bay or the rediculous carb!!
