2001 Challenger Shifter Cable (FNR) Broken

Hello,

Just got a 2001 challenger 14.5 foot. Runs great but when I had it on the water today all of a sudden it wouldn't hold into gear. looks broke. Attached is the picture.



Where do I fond this cable or what is the name of it?

you can order direct from SBT or WSM. Or your local boat shop would probably be a dealer of either or both and can order from there if you want to give them the business rather than giving money to amazon or ebay.....i do not think they need the money.

Did you find your cable? I'm having a problem with my steering cable and not sure whether I need to replace the whole thing. Swivel seal for steering cable

See that rubber boot in your picture that has pulled off the tube at the bottom of your yellow circle? That's similar to the boot on my steering cable where it exits the transom. Did your new cable include that?
