First time for me in a jet boat. As many of you are aware I spent all winter getting this thing ready. Only issue the speedo does not function. https://youtu.be/Ell_5mz56nM
It’s def an odd steering feeling compared to my 32’ carver aft cabin. Steering stiffens up as you get into the throttle. I did keep the steering/throttle assist for docking. I clocked 45mph going into the wind just off WOT. Fully fueled but just me on board. Wish the speedo worked though. Boat seems to want to pull left off plane with just me in it as well.
