I've got a 2001 challenger 1800 with the 210hp motor. The oil pump failed and trashed a couple pistons years ago. The shop that started the work on it shut down and when I finally got the boat back the motor was in multiple boxes and missing all the rods and pistons. The boat is in descent shape, have new rear seat still in box, the block was re sleaved and it looks like other than the rods and pistons it looks like its pretty much all there. I dont have the time or know how to get it back together or even drop a new motor in it so I'm thinking about parting it out or selling it as it sits...anyone have any suggestions for me (which way to go, how much it is worth as it is) or offers?

It's hard to say. If you find the right person... and the boat is clean... sell it complete. But for 90% of the people out there... it's not worth it since a shop is going to charge +$5k to do an engine swap. AND... even though that bock may be nice... if it's apart, and missing stuff... then no one will take it as a core.

If you decide to part it out... let us know. I'm sure there are a lot of parts people will want here.
