Wife and I went out with some friends today. I got to the spot where we all met up and tied off. Spent the day swimming and relaxing. Went to fire up to go return to my slip and nothing. Thought the battery was dead so I pulled out the old jump pack and when I went into the engine bay, this is what I found. The belts look to be shredded and off their wheels. IMG_2609 2.JPGIMG_2610.JPGI have been trying to find a video on how to fix this. Anyone have any ideas? I am fairly handy and can follow a you tube video like the best of them. Just not finding anything out there for this issue. Thanks in advance!

Get a new Belt, cut out the old one.... there is a 3/8 inch square hole that will accept a socket wrench in it on the tension pully.... Pretty easy.
Keep a spare in the boat and a 3/8 socket drive or breaker bar.

I've been having a hard time finding the belts for this engine. Have gone to 3 different shops and no one carries them. Do I have to go direct to mercury? Any ideas on the part #?
