I came in from a quick ride and hit the switch to turn the engine off. I heard a noise that sounded like an electric motor coming from under the seat. I had to quickly disconnect the battery to make it stop. After a half hour to cool down I connected the battery and hit the start button and the same noise came back. I tried to hit the stop switch to make it stop, but the only way was to again disconnect the battery. The engine was not running when this happened, but the sound was a continous motor type sound, the sound came from the box in front of the engine where the starter connects into, so I thing this is a starter and or solenoid problem.
Anybody have any ideas?
