Hello I'm new here and sure this was posted before. I have a cavitation issue only since I changed the throttle and gear levers. If I go slow on throttle boat will go to plane but if I hammer down or go past 30 mph the boat cavitates violently. Enough so the the gear shift will go into nuetral on it's own. Think this is coinsedence or maybe something worked it's way into the pump while the boat was sitting in the water waiting on parts. Thank you in advance for any advice

I think it’s more likely that the reverse bucket needs the linkage adjusted. If it’s cavitating and pulling the lever into neutral, then I would suspect that the bucket isn’t raising completely out of the way of the pump flow.

Move the lever all the way into forward, and see if it’s completely clear of the nozzle.

Thank you for your reply and I looked at the bucket and you are correct Jeremy. Looks like some shifter adjusting for me. Thx again Jeremy and have a great day
