Hello all,
I recently left my boat on the water for about 5 days at the lake. During this time frame we had a really large amount of rain and I found out the hard way that my bilge was no longer working. After draining the engine compartment (it was about 3/4 of the way full) and the rest of the boat, I was able to pull out the bilge and mess with a little bit. It doesn't feel like anything was jammed i n it because I still can rotate the fan with my hand. So neither the automatic feature and the switch are working. Also everything else that is electrical in the boat appears to be working fine. I also checked the main fuse and it was fine. I didnt see any other fuses on the wiring so I am assuming that the pump is burnt out. It was working about 2 weeks ago. I forgot to check that it was working properly when I left it on the dock (not my smartest moment). If anyone has any advice before I just order a new pump I would appreciate it.
