2000 seadoo gtx di fuel injectors

I recently purchased a 2000 GTX DI waverunner. I noticed when i test drove it, it ran about 10 miles slower than the 2001 model that I already have. I pulled out one of the spark plugs and it was a little fouled looking. I was wondering how I could clean out the fuel injectors? Would it hurt it to run fuel injector cleaner thru the motor? Or how is the correct way to clean out the injectors? Also I was wondering where the fuel filters were on this SeaDoo because I was wanting to replace them also.

How much fuel rail pressure do you have. It should be about 59 psi.

You have DI
Unhook the two oetiker clamps directly outside the pump module on top of the tank. Install a t fitting in between the module and the hose. Put a 200 psi capable guage on the t(IF you want to check it on the water, use 3 feet of hose and run it through the console hole). Install the key... You should have about 120 psi(117). If the pressure drops when you stall, pressure is your problem.

From a guy who worked for Orbital, you can use a Volvo external pump, ekp4. Correct flow and pressure. Got the info years ago from an old sd.net thread.

should have a internal filter screen on bottom of pump in the tank
and a external one on the supply line
fuel pressusre is a prime suspect with what you are describing
havent seen to many issuses with clogged or sticking injectors
have seen them go bad and blow a fuse tho
this boat has both fuel and air injectors
air compressor that supplies the air side off fuel delivery can be off,
but havent seen this much
