Ski: 2000 Seadoo GTI with BN 40i carb
Condition:Currently winterized gas tank with Sta-Bil (half-full); yesterday it started right up (out of water on water hose)
Issue: Last summer on final run before setting up for winter, I noticed that upon take-off the ski bogged down and would die. Idles fine. However, when restarted I "hurried" though the first 10-15% of throttle it performed normally...with good responsiveness and top speed. Bog down happened every time, so I hurried thru each time. Otherwise ran great besides the bog down issue.
Additional facts: I have never rebuilt the carb (or removed/rebuilt any carb for that matter) but im prepared to. I would like to fix this before any further use.
