2000 LRV 951 now sputters on start up

Hi Guys.
Here's the issue. Started fine, ran great for 1/2 hour. Low throttle, idle, wot, all were ok. After 1/2 hour, would crank fine, sputter on start, goose throttle, then died out. On 1 ocassion, got it started, ran at higher RPM's, Then just died out.
Now, it will crank fine, cough as if it want to fire, may actually run a couple seconds while you goose the throttle, but dies out. will only crank if you try to start while goosing the throttle.
I get the normal 2 beeps when key is installed, battery is good, fuel is new and full, fuel is on.
Plugs were changed while this is happening. 1 looked very black, 1 ok.
Any suggestions would help

carbs cleaned lately?, and you check compression?

Carbs cleaned, compression 150 both sides

clipped the plug wires? After re-read'n the thread, maybe the reeds are bad/warped.

Thanks for all of the suggestions....FOUND THE PROBLEM.
Bad gas...water seperation in fuel tank...about 25%. Will clean tank, flush lines, clean and redo carbs...AGAIN. Replace plugs, etc., etc., etc.
