2000 islandia strong gas smell when sitting

Hey all,

Does anyone have a strong gas smell when boat is just sitting, I run my blower and even open the engine compartment sometimes to make sure its ok. Its not to bad , but you can def smell the gas

Just learning my boat, want to ask if thats normal or not. i came from a pontoon world

Mine is not an islandia but has the same engine etc . I never smell gas. When the boat is idling it smells of exhaust but i dont think you are talking about that. make sure you run your blower for 4 minutes before starting your engine

yeah this is even after running a while and we anchor, after about 20 mins you can smell gas on the back of the boat, im gonna have to make sure there is no fuel line leaks or anything
