2000 Islandia needs a engine controller

Had motor problems last season and been getting the boat repaired all this season. Current reported issue is that the Engine Controller went bad. Repair shop has confirmed this with Mercury, but the problem is that part (824003T31) is reported as discontinued everywhere. Anyone know where I can get one? Family loves the boat so I would like to get it going soon. Thanks.

There are usually some for sale on ebay. However, it is rare for those units to fail.

Check Brocato.com- they claim to be able to repair them. They also have updated units.
