I have a 2000 GTX that I've been working on for a while. When I crank it on the water hose it goes straight up to around 6000 rpm and will not come down. Once it gets there the stop button won't work, the killswitch doesn't kill it, and the only way to stop it is to pull the choke out till it quits. It runs fine in the water, but I don't wanna have to go all the way to the river after every time I work on it. Does anyone have any clue what might be causing it?
