2000 GSX RFI- New key= no full power

I lost key. ski ran great last week. got new key, programed from dealer.
Now ski starts okay, but wont go faster that 10-15 mph. Is it possible that the kid, who was having trouble programming it, programmed it in the "trainer mode"? It seems odd that the only different factor is the new key???
The guy at the dearship said that's probably not the issue.

Welcome to the seadoo forum BCZZZZZZ. I would have the dealer check the programing. It is possible that the programmer might have changed something else in the Mpem. Go back to the dealer. It sounds like it is to coincidental.
