2000 GS acceleration issue

my GS has a problem when trying to accelerate. When I press down the throttle I can hit almost full speed but the engine deaccelerates by itself to half power. This cycle occurs over and over. Is this a fuel problem? How can I fix?

Check the fuel system, it might have a blockage somewere.
