2000 Challenger - Resonator/Exhaust Chamber required

I am having a great deal of difficulty to attain a Resonator/Exhaust Chamber Part # 204340060 for my 2000 Challenger. Does anyone know where I can get this part? From what I understand, the part is discontinued. Any solutions? Anyone currently salvaging this boat for parts?

The number one way to buy a used / obsolete part is adding the manufacturers original number and any superceded part numbers into your ebay followed searches. You'll get an email when one is listed, and these boats are getting parted out more and more these days.

Try Hildebrand Marine Salvage in Coldwater Michigan they repair Sea Doo's and have an extensive yard full of freshwater watercraft, outboards, atv's snowmachines etc. for used parts. (517) 238-2828

Is this part made of plastic?
In the parts manual it looks to be connected on only one side.
Perhaps a resonator from another model would fit, or you could cap it off and it would just change the sound, not the performance?

Yes, the part is plastic. It has a horseshoe look to it with an oval, eggshape bulb in middle

Oh, that's the expansion chamber, not the resonator. You need that!
