2000 Challenger Price?

I am looking into a 2000 Challenger with the 240 hp Mercury V6. I've never been around one of these, but I've always liked the size and appearance. This boat is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. The seller's asking price is $8,850. I would have to drive about 4 hrs one way to pick it up. Is this price reasonable? Are there any issues I may have with this boat? Thanks for any help.

just for the record, I bought the exact same boat back in 2008 for 10k. We have enjoyed it, but it's gonna be expensive to run this year with $4 gas...
