I have a 2000 Challenger 1800 with the Mercury engine. Someone sold me a fuel baffle but it is incorrect part. It only has 2 wires and mine has 3.

Can someone provide me with a correct Part number? Can anyone suggest where I could get one?

edit: they sold me P275500253

Do you have a light on your fuel guage? The three wire baffle has a low level sensor which illuminates the light on the fuel gauge. If you don't have the light don't worry about it.

Yes I have a little red dot light inside the fuel guage on the dash. I guess I need a part # 204560059 ? I have seen on ebay that some are selling baffles with part numbers 204560059 204560223. The NEW part number is the 204560223. Just curious what the difference between the two are.
I really hate to spend $200 for a baffle just to get my guage to work. :ack:

I have another question for you however it is unrelated to the fuel baffle so I will start another thread for that.

90% of the time... when the gauge isn't working... all you need to do is replace the float. (it's a known issue with seadoo)

Or it may be the blown F1 fuse in the baffle. Search to find the fuel baffle fix. I had to do this after I found out my float was workin ok.

UGH! Float replaced. . . Still no fuel guage. The low oil light in the fuel gauge illuminated when I turn the key but still no fuel level. I cleaned all connections so I guess now I'll have to remove it again and try to find someone to solder the F1.

Did I miss anything?
