2000 challanger 1800 mercruiser v6

i just recieved this boat [free] its been sitting for about 13 years to guy i got it from was an idiot it was left out in the weather a few spark plugs left out
i have never owned anything like this before but hey it looks fun
im no stranger to engines rebuilding and maintaining them
it does appear to be missing a few little things
my question is at this point would you just go ahead and pull the engine and go thru it
not sure where to start on this project

Wow, with the plugs out for who know how many yrs, it probably got moisture into the cylinders.
Pull the head and check.
Rebuild the carb(s), change oil and filter, change fuel lines if they are the gray tempo ones(some boat don't have these bad boys), add an fuel filter.
