Hi Premix,
I bought a 2006 Utopia 205 with the NA 1503 Twin-Rotax. I had to fix a couple things on the boat but now it runs as supposed. Acceleration is pretty good, better than the Sportster 150 with 155Hp engine. Idling around is much better due to the longer hull and steering is more accurate than compared to the Sportster with one pump. Compared to the Speedster 200 I think the Utopia should be faster since it has a empty weight of 1165 Kg (the version w/o tower) vs. 1265 Kg for the Speedster w/o tower. But honestly the Speedster with just same engines is roughly 3.5 m/h faster. But I guess it might be not much noticeable since you have to see how much weight is carried around (people, stuff, fuel....). The Utopia is more like a normal family boat and it's hardly to identify it as a jet-boat. Actually I like this, because it gives the people sometimes a surprise when you start driving. Especially our friends with the V8 engines *smile*.
Only disadvantage which I see is when you climb to your swim platform you have to stand on your upholstery in the back. But both models with the 155 Hp Rotax engines are boats with a very reliable drive-concept. I think before skiing, wake boarding or driving with higher speeds its very necessary to warm up your engine. This actually extends the life of them. Almost time I see boaters here in my area, they just drop the boat into the water and drives away like a bat out of hell.
We had a lot of fun with this boat in the last year and I hope there are still a couple year ahead of us.
