200 hp sportjet

Does anyone know if the 200hp DI sportjet engine has the plastic oil pump drive ring like the rest of the merc motors? I don't hear of the 200hp failing as much as the others. My old Challenger 1800 engine failed (210hp carb. version). I now have a 2002 Utopia with the 200hp DI motor and wonder if I'm on borrowed time.

it does not its an electric oil pump sometimes the seep a bit of oil but thats about it seldom do they fail

Thanks for the response. I ordered a manual online but it was much less comprehensive than I had hoped. Again, I appreciate the info.
