2 stroke oil selection

I'm thinking of running

VALVOLINE 2 STROKE RACING OIL, purely due to the fact I can get it cheap from a mate who is a supplier. It's rated for

API TC, JASO FC, FD, ISO-L-EDG. Any pros or cons with running this.

I have a 96 787 XP

Sorry jetboatdan for jumping in here but I have similar question, concern, issue, problem...
I've had my 1997 SeaDoo GTX (787) for several years now and it's running very good, after a carb rebuild early last year. Problem: The OEM recommended XP-S (API-TC) direct injection full synthetic oil (yellow 1 gal. jug) is getting harder to find & purchase. The SeaDoo dealers have "XPS Lubricants" in 3 varieties... "E-TEC" and "RACE" are full synthetic, and PWC is a synthetic blend... but the bottles do not show if they are API-TC (or TCW-x). I've talked to SeaDoo dealer service & mechanics & parts personnel... No Help... they don't know. Nobody could explain what E-TEC's application is, and I read else-where that using RACE for non-demanding uses would likely resulting varnishing of internal components (not enough heat). The images on the bottles show motorcycles & mostly snow machines (not PWC) and tech descriptions relate mostly to snow machines. I called a phone number listed for "XPS Lubricants" (888-272-9222) and I got "SeaDoo" Customer Service. They said they could not answer any tech question and can only direct me to a dealer of my zip code of choice... round & round I go. I would like to stay with XPS (something chemically compatible with OEM XP-S)... hoping to avoid having to drain, clean and bleed, etc. the system.

The only SD engines I have owned are 951 carbs, and one di 951. SD states they should run full synthetic. I ran SD two stroke mineral oil for hundreds of hours on the carbed engines. The only issue was I had to clean the RAVE valves more often. I currently run Lucas Semi synthetic and pay about $31 per gallon. None of this may help, just my two cents.

I have a 1997 Speedster with twin 717s. All my searches come up with Amsoil Interceptor for the oil injection system. I can get it from a local source but it is a bit pricey. Online sources are more expensive when you add shipping. What other synthetic oils can I run without fouling the engines?

I use Lucas Full synthetic marine 2 stroke oil. I get it from Academy sports, but it has been running about $45 or so!
