Hi, I am new here and new to owning seadoo's. I am a avid boater and have some mechanical experience with Atv's, boats, and car engines, but these rotax engines are a mystery to me. Ok here is the problems with (2) seadoo's i just purchased and any help or recommendations would really help.
1999 - GTX - milenium edition - starts but cuts outs really bad and runs terrible not much power for about 1/2 hour or so then all the sudden runs like a bat out of hell. I plan to change fuel filter, plugs, and clean rave valves, any other sugestions or maint?
2001 GTI- RFI - same thing starts, but cuts out really bad, but for allot longer than the GTX. Is there a fuel filter on a RFI model, if so where is it? Also i noticed allot of the little tubes (look like vacuum) seem very discolored and moldy. Should you replace any tubes inside the hull? Can they get blocked with any soot or dirt or time?
