2 beeps and nothing

When I put my ski away last year it ran fine. This year I went out and put a new battery in and put the lanyard on and got 2 beeps, pushed the starter and nothing. not even a click.

Any suggestions. The only thing I did was check the connections and tried another battery. Same result.
