I starts right up and idles well, then out of nowhere one engine begins sputtering and revs are jumping up and down 500-1000 RPM either direction. Oil level is good, no warning lights, and it is intermittant, so I decided to stretch her out a bit and see what happens. That engine is still sputtering and revs fluttering up and down. I'm thinking the fuel injection is dirty, or maybe some old fuel, but it's only the 1 engine. After running about 1/4 tank it definitly improved, I wouldn't say it quit altogether, but got much better. Anyone had similar experiences after their boat sat up all winter? I just bought it, and the previous owner had just had it serviced for what he called "de-winterizing" but I don't have the reciept.

I would have a look at your spark plugs, sometimes when de-winterizing your plugs get fouled up from burning up the fogging oil they put in the cylinders in the fall. If you can take a pic of your plugs and post them up.
