Hi, Guys, We just got our 1st Boat today via a Trade for an 85 Suzuki LT250-R Quad In a Straight across deal, I can't even believe I did this without turning it over but there was no Battery in it,and I beleived the Guy when he told me it just needed a battery,He showed up with his Wife and a couple of little kids and the Doo seems to be in pretty good shape. So after reading a few posts on the Forums I hooked up jumper cables to a non running vehicle and clipped them to the batter leads on the SeaDoo with no battery present inline.I was just going to bump the starter over a couple of times before I went to spend 60.00 on a battery, It sounded like it turned over maybe one half of a revolution ,and all I can get out of it is a click when I "bump" the starter button. He said it was used last year last time so it has been sitting over a year. I am not or did not get any lights or beeps of any kind. What size battery should it be,the guide at Walmart does not list SeaDoo in the little computer application deal for the batterys there is a 14 series and a 16 series listed for ATVs and the other other brands of PWC listed,I can't believe SeaDoo is not listed in the computer there. Thank You in Advance I hope I have not screwed anything up.Like I said I hooked up cables to the leads and with the car not running just tried to bump it over very quickly to verify that it was working.
