1999 spx

[1999 spx woodchip]

I have 1999 spx. I’m having trouble starting it. It ran great last week and now nothing. I’ve put in a new ignition coil in and nothing, it just cranks over. If I put I screw driver in the end of the spark plug wire it fires right away. Can anyone HELP ME please! Thank you.

Check your compression first. Then start looking at fuel. Will it fire up with a little premix in the plug holes?

Compression is where it should be. I did try the premix and still nothing. That’s why I’m so confused.

Small ground wire to battery not hooked up broken?

It’s the ground for the coil.
